Guangzhou Beiliao Information Technology Limited (“Guangzhou Beiliao”) was founded in July 2013 by IT professional alumni from Chinese internet giants such as Netease, Sina, Taobao and Tencent.

In August 2013, the company successfully launched the free version of mobile-phone application Beiliao, aiming to establish the best communication platform for kindergartens and parents across China. The application offers various services such as e-payments, operational management, daily punch-card registrations, official website and real-time announcements for the kindergarten clients and offers photo album, real-time communication, educational billboard services for parents. Its services are able help kindergartens to promote their services and form a very positive brand image to protect the children’s safety by implementing “Little Chicken Protection Plan”.

The app is being used by over 38,000 kindergartens and 8 million registered users (daily active users 20%, and monthly active users nearly 70%) in 31 provinces all over the China. This will be a solid foundation for profitability in the new future.

In Jan. 2016, TCC Capital invested Guangzhou Beiliao together with Chinese A-share public company Vtron Corporation and Tsinghua-backed Qidi Education Fund during the B-round equity financing.

In addition to being an investor, TCC Capital has been assisting the company in reorganizing the operational and managerial structures, and improving internal controls and financial reporting system with attempt to help the company grow more efficiently.
