TCC Capital invested in the LED Group in 2011. Its principal business is the management of energy saving projects to replace current streetlights in certain areas of the PRC into LED lights and operate and maintain the facilities for the PRC local government authorities for energy saving purposes during the terms of the energy saving service contracts.

The total number of LED street lights under management is expected to exceed 300,000 by the end of 2015 making it the largest company of its kind in China.

TCC owned 19% of LED Group’s total equity. In Oct 2011, TCC and other shareholders sold the entire LED Group’s equity interests to China Environmental Investments Holdings Ltd (HK Exchange Stock Code: 260, currently renamed as AVIC Joy Holdings (HK) Limited), a company ultimately controlled by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, a US Fortune 500 company.
